Dear Solly and Sam

I am so sorry that I won’t be with you today – but I am thinking of you all.

Your Mummy was a really special person – the remarkable thing about her is that her beauty in and out and all the unique qualities that her close family and friends recognized – shone out immediately too to those who were not in her inner circle.  The fact that she always saw the sunnier take on life or that the glass was always half full and never half empty.

For Charlotte it appeared that problems were only ever challenges and that mountains were always mole hills.  I have written the clichés because for your Mummy they were so true.  But one of the most amazing qualities that your Mummy had that all those who knew her … and ever met her, benefited from was her ability to make a moment stop.  She managed to always find time, concentration and focus to sit and listen and most of all be interested in whoever at that moment was sitting next to her or across the way from her – whether it be a close friend, an acquaintance or a random passer-by …

Dear Solly and Sam – I think about you often and see your Mummy’s smile shining down on you.

With much love

Caroline
